On the verge...
OK, today I was on the verge of giving up and quitting. I don't know why but I suddenly feel like I cannot do this! Here's the thing: I KNOW I could train and physically complete the half, but I am afraid that I am not finding enough time to train enough (work and masters and sleep take up all my time right now) and build up my endurance. This week I'm going to evaluate how I feel when we get done with our 6 miles and determine from there if I think I can do the half. Here's to hoping!

Where their is hope there is limitless possibilities :)
ReplyDeleteso the challenge here is balance. .. finding time and deciding that this is something you really want to do.... right?
Well, life is full of challenges to find balance, time, and desire... As a homeschooling mom of 3, part time teacher, and wife... I have challenges. I have a friend who has 3 children, one with a disability, who finds the balance to train.
I dont want to sound like I am shooting down all your reasons not too do this but... I want to encourage you to think of it differently. Change you mind if you can.
I know its seems impossible and that you cannot do this but I promise .. you can find time... and you can do this....
but what are your reasons? What is the why behind our choice to start this training?
you will find too that other things in life seem so much easier after this. All things will decisions and actions will be deverted back to that space and time when you crossed the finish line. The confidence you gain and how all other things in life seem so much easier makes training and finishing such a valuable thing in life.
Realizing too that training is a source of stress relief, and not just something else to do on your list ... something that will HELP you through your work and the stress of school.... making your day better and not worse :)... you will have more energy, mentally and physically, you will study better, sleep better, think better :)
YOU CAN!
:)
